Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee on Tuesday invoked a racial stereotype to take a shot at Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during the first Democratic presidential primary debate.
Huckabee tweeted that he’d trust the self-described socialist senator with his tax dollars “like I trust a North Korean chef with my labrador”:

He later knocked “liberals” who criticized that tweet as racist:

And I would trust Huckabee with our country like I would trust ISIS taking care of Christians and Jews.
Hucakabee knows his base, I´ll give him that much.
Except for the assumption that his base knows that there´s a country call ¨Korea¨, of course.
