Even after Univision host Jorge Ramos was kicked out of a Donald Trump press conference for challenging the GOP 2016 frontrunner, the angry language didn’t stop once Ramos had been escorted to the hallway.
“Get out of my country. Get out,” a Trump supporter told Ramos after he had been escorted from the press conference in a video posted by Fusion. In the video, Ramos calmly responds to the supporter that he is, in fact, a U.S. citizen.
“Well, whatever … it’s not about you,” the supporter said, aggressively gesturing at the Univision host.
The Trump-Ramos tussle began when Ramos began shouting questions at Trump during a Tuesday evening press conference. Trump told Ramos to “go back to Univision” before security physically removed him from the press conference.
After the supporter made the remark to Ramos in the hallway, a Trump campaign staffer told Ramos he could come back into the press conference as long as he waited to be called upon before asking questions.
Ramos agreed, and eventually he and Trump engaged in a back-and-forth about immigration policy.
Teatroll Rosetta Stone: “Go back to Univision” = “Go back to Mexico”
Pretty sure I didn’t really have to translate that, but sometimes the obvious needs to be stated.
Yeah, Sarah Palin’s rallies were filled with racist whites whose sense of entitlement, which they denied existed, was feeling threatened, too, and the MSM didn’t link it in any way to Palin or her rhetoric or anything having gone wrong in the GOP then either.
In fact, we’re basically talking about the exact same people.
charming supporters he has…
This is similar to what Trump was saying - that Ramos was screaming or he was ranting and raving. Except that he wasn’t. Why are you saying he was shouting?
That was Trump’s bodyguard. Maybe I’m nitpicking here, but claiming it was just “security” seems a bit disingenuous.
Behold the Republican base in all its racist glory.
Those dinosaurs can’t die out fast enough for my taste.
