Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), one of the several Republican lawmakers who opted to skip the party’s convention this year, early Wednesday morning criticized the convention’s focus on Hillary Clinton and calls to send her to prison.

On Tuesday night, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie used his speech to offer his “indictment” of Clinton, listing common conservative criticisms of the former secretary of state. As he spoke, the crowd chanted, “Lock her up!”

And several speakers on Monday night called for Clinton to be jailed. The convention crowd even broke out into “Lock her up” chants during Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s Monday night speech.
