Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), one of the several Republican lawmakers who opted to skip the party’s convention this year, early Wednesday morning criticized the convention’s focus on Hillary Clinton and calls to send her to prison.
.@HillaryClinton now belongs in prison? C’mon. We can make the case that she shouldn’t be elected without jumping the shark.

On Tuesday night, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie used his speech to offer his “indictment” of Clinton, listing common conservative criticisms of the former secretary of state. As he spoke, the crowd chanted, “Lock her up!”
And several speakers on Monday night called for Clinton to be jailed. The convention crowd even broke out into “Lock her up” chants during Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn’s Monday night speech.
I must say I enjoy the irony of the most prominent Senator trying to seem like a sane Republican being named Flake.
How long before we hear that Sen. Flake is joining the Democratic Party?
This is why so many elite GOPers skipped the convention entirely. Its a cluster fuck of the highest magnitude.
Though personally,I am going to be extremely disappointed if they don’t rip off their cloths, cover themselves in blood, start a bonfire in the middle of the floor and go completely “Lord of the Flies” before its all over.
I smell the mellow, yet bracing aroma of my espresso, and, in Mr. Flake, I’m smell the pungent redolence of the fear of massive Republican electoral defeat. At such times, it is good to sniff slowly and deeply, is it not?
You will be kicked out of the party Jeff. The ‘irony’ of the crowd screaming ‘GUILTY’ in unison last night while ‘demanding’ THEIR rights be met is too much for this American. Sorry that you have to be ‘one of them’.
