Former President Bill Clinton will stump for Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes (D) to try to help boost her bid to replace Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

Clinton will campaign for Grimes on Feb. 25 in Kentucky, The Kentucky Courier-Journal reported Friday.

The announcement came the same day that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) urged Democrats to return money Clinton helped raise. Paul’s call is the latest criticism from him against Clinton. The junior senator from Kentucky, who has endorsed McConnell, has repeatedly criticized Clinton as a “sexual predator.”
