The Indiana primary was on May 3rd, generally accepted as the date when Trump clinched the Republican nomination. It was also a period when the bitterness of the Democratic race was intensifying. Trump momentarily drew almost even with Clinton and then fell back. You could pinpoint the Judge Curiel implosion and various other key moments. But the general picture is simply the stability of the race looked at over time.
