Trump Leads By Small Margin In Georgia Poll

Donald Trump leads a poll of likely Georgia voters by just three points, according to the latest Monmouth University poll.

Trump leads Hillary Clinton in the red state by three points, 45-42, with Libertarian Gary Johnson trailing at 8 percent.

Another recent poll, conducted by OpinionSavvy for Fox 5 Atlanta, showed Trump ahead by four points, 46-42, with Johnson polling at 10 percent. Monmouth has not previously surveyed Georgia on this election.

The Monmouth University poll was conducted via live telephone interview from Sept. 15-18 among 401 likely Georgia voters, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percent.

TPM’s PollTracker Average for the election in Georgia shows Trump leading Clinton, 44.8 to 41.5.
