Challenger Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-FL) shows signs of closing in on incumbent Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) in the latest poll of the U.S. Senate race in Florida by Monmouth University.
Rubio leads in the race by just two points, 47-45, among likely Florida voters in the Senate race.
His lead has dropped since Monmouth last polled Florida in August, where Rubio led his Democratic challenger by five points, 48-43.
The Monmouth University poll was conducted Sept. 16-19 among 400 likely Florida voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percent.
TPM’s PollTracker Average for the U.S. Senate election in Florida shows Rubio leading Murphy, 49.5 to 45.2.
He’s amply demonstrated he doesn’t really want to be there. Oblige him, Florida.
How many times do you need for him to tell you he hates being a senator before you actually vote him out Florida? He already proclaimed he quit. Now, he states he will not fulfill his term!
Check his attendance and voting records. He’s never there, but to pick up his paycheck fools.
AND, he wants all pregnant women that have been exposed to the zika virus to carry to term, regardless!! No, abortion for you, because well…he says so!
Rubio’s membership in the United States Senate is an insult to anyone who still aspires to see smart dedicated people pulling the levers of government on their behalf. I’m donating to Murphy’s campaign and I almost never send money out of state.
I think he’ll win. Name recognition will probably be enough in Florida.
There must be a third party candidate in this race. There’s simply no other way to explain that chart.
