Hillary Clinton polls ahead of Donald Trump by seven points in the latest update of the Ipsos/Reuters national tracking poll.
Clinton leads in the head-to-head match, 44-37, among likely voters nationally in the week following the first presidential debate.
When third-party candidates were included, Clinton led by six points, 42-36, with Libertarian Gary Johnson following at 8 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 2 percent.
Clinton’s lead has not changed much since the Ipsos/Reuters poll surveyed likely voters in the five days before the debate.
In that poll, she led by six points in the head-to-head match, 44-38, and by four points in the four-way match, 42-38, with Johnson at 7 percent and Stein at 2 percent.
The Ipsos/Reuters national tracking poll surveyed 1,239 likely voters online from Sept. 29-Oct. 3, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.2 percent.
TPM’s PollTracker Average shows Clinton leading Trump, 46.7 to 41.3.
