When asked whether his acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker will testify before the House Judiciary Committee on Friday, President Trump deflected, suggesting if Whitaker did end up appearing he would “do very well.”
“He’s an outstanding person, I would say if he did testify, he would do very well,” he told reporters in the Oval Office. “He’s an outstanding persona, a very, very fine man.”
Trump’s comments follow news that Whitaker won’t testify before the House committee unless members drop their threat of subpoenaing him. House Democrats are interested in Whitaker’s communications with the White House about special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, an investigation he publicly bashed before being appointed as acting attorney general.

Fat, Orange, Stupid, More Corrupt Than Nixon says what??
Apparently he’s too scared to even show up for the hearing. Not what I would call “an outstanding person.” Trump lies again; quelle surprise!
You mean you aren’t concerned about perjury traps?
Speaking of “perjury traps” we haven’t heard from Giuliani in the last few weeks… did they finally realized that he was making things worse and put him back in his coffin and locked it in the basement?
What does that even mean?
It’s not an audition for a part, you dumb motherfucker.
Trump - "… a very, very fine man.”
Just like Flynn, Manafort, Cohen…
