Fresh off the release of a host of new details about his campaign manager’s contacts with foreign officials during the 2016 election, President Donald Trump on Thursday was quick to cast the “collusion” label onto another party: the Democrats and the media.

During an interview with Fox News host (and best friend) Sean Hannity while he visited the border wall on Thursday, Trump suggested that perhaps the “real collusion” was between Democrats and reporters and their use of the term “manufactured crisis.”

“I saw on your show actually where you had anchor after anchor using the exact same word. ‘It’s manufactured, manufactured,'” Trump said, referencing a segment on Hannity’s show earlier this week.

“Sounds like they’re in collusion,” Hannity said with a laugh.

“Yeah, little collusion,” Trump said. “That’s the real collusion, OK? That’s the real collusion. You take a look because they all use the exact same term. I mean literally the exact same two words. … ‘It’s a manufactured crisis.’ No, it’s a manufactured soundbite because it was just a soundbite.”
