Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani has been asking around for possible defense attorneys, a notable move since he asserted last week that he’d only lawyer up if absolutely necessary.

According to CNN, Giuliani said Wednesday that he had not yet been contacted by the FBI or prosecutors at the SDNY, despite reports that federal prosecutors in New York are investigating his business deals in Ukraine.

Giuliani let go of attorney Jon Sale after the lawyer helped him deny compliance with House committees’ subpoena earlier this month.

Giuliani has come under increased scrutiny after his associates Lev Parnas and Igor Furman were arrested on campaign finance charges for allegedly concealing the source of a $325,000 donation to a Trump-supporting super PAC.
