The President’s son, who was at the center of the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer, celebrated not getting indicted on Fox News on Monday evening.

Donald Trump Jr. said it “feels great” that special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe is over, which was, in part, looking into whether he worked with Russia to get dirt on his father’s opponent, Hillary Clinton. He then went on to claim that the attorney general’s assessment of the Mueller’s report shows that it was Democrats “colluding, not us.”

“It feels great because I was a big part of all of this going on,” he told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on Monday evening. “I’m the one that took the daily incoming, the nonsense. Now at the same time I’m also the person that was actually there, that was actually in the room. So I understand everything that went into it. I realized we didn’t do anything wrong. Certainly when you look at what the other side was doing, you realize it was them in fact colluding, not us.”

“We were doing a campaign,” he continued. “We were functioning like any campaign would. That’s what we did. So it was difficult to watch. It was difficult to watch what they’re trying to and have been trying to do to my father for two years.”

Mueller delivered his report from his two-year probe to the Department of Justice on Friday, ending of the investigation and signaling he would bring no further indictments. Many suspected Trump Jr.’s role in planning the Trump Tower meeting might get him an indictment from Mueller.

so what you are saying is that when the Dem candidate gets an email from a Mexican business partner/spy offering dirt on your dad, that’s totally cool, no need to report it to the government, because it business as usual, good to know

Maybe Pelosi wants to rethink the strategy of backing off? Is Trump “worth it” to her now? Because most Democrats think he is.

There really is no limit to the dishonesty on the part of Republicans. And I know it’s hard work, but somebody has got to do it. Pelosi wanted the leadership position. Why? Just to get a nice office?

  3. You forgot “chinless”

  4. Used in a sentence, “Jr. cooperated with russians when he agreed to meet them in the Trump Tower to receive “dirt” on Clinton.”

Incorrect utilization, from Barr: “Nobody in the Trump campaign cooperated with the russians”

I dunno if I’m more upset at the findings of the report than at their clear attack on the English language.
