During an appearance on “Fox and Friends” Thursday morning, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway suggested it was “poor form” for incoming Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to “insult” President Trump “personally.” Seconds later, she made a joke about Pelosi’s age.

“For the incoming speaker to come in and say, well — to really try to insult the President personally is very poor form. She is a leader in this country now. She is number three in line to the presidency. It’s just poor form,” she said. “By the way, nothing really screams youth and energy quite like a 78-year-old speaker and Joe Biden running for President.”

Conway was responding to remarks Pelosi made during an interview with the “Today” show that aired Thursday morning, when the incoming speaker suggested President Trump may not know how to work with powerful women.
