WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Clinton decried the rise of fake news as an “epidemic” during a speech on Capitol Hill.
Clinton addressed fake news during a speech for retiring Nevada Sen. Harry Reid at the Capitol Thursday.
Clinton warned that “it’s now clear that so-called fake news can have real-world consequences,” an apparent reference to an incident involving a gunman who fired multiple shots inside a Washington pizza shop that has become the target of a fake conspiracy story.
Clinton said the issue “is not about politics or partisanship. Lives are at risk. Lives of ordinary people just trying to go about their days to do their jobs, contribute to their communities.”

So conservatives go back to circulating fake news via email chain letters as they always have. The rest of us lose freedom of speech, no biggie if you’re a Hillary supporter. So sick of this theme that anything that doesn’t benefit Hillary is the worst thing ever, like caucuses and the electoral college. She just can’t admit she ran a lousy campaign and lost to Donald Trump because she shafted the middle class one too may times.
Dear Hillary, as your supporters told Sanders supporters when they were cheated, you should have known what the rules were.
Considering how fake news led to some idiot holding up a pizza place, this is definitely a problem that needs addressing.
Can we get a better name for this shit then “Fake News?” When I hear “Fake News” I think The Onion, not the sort of propaganda/bull-shit click-fishing being discussed here.
