Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) joined the chorus of Republicans suddenly roused to condemn Rep. Steve King’s (R-IA) latest offensive statements.
“This wasn’t the first time, but his language questioning whether or not the notion of white supremacy is offensive is absolutely abhorrent, it’s racist, we do not support it or agree with it,” said Cheney, the third in command for House Republicans. “And as I said, I think he should find another line of work.”
King was stripped of his committee roles Monday as reprisal for his comments.
