Attorney General Bill Barr on Thursday declined to discuss his review of the beginning of the FBI’s probe into the Trump campaign when a Fox News reporter asked about Barr’s investigation of the investigators.

During the press conference he held before releasing the special counsel Robert Mueller’s redacted final report, Barr took a question from Fox News’ Catherine Herridge.

Is there anything you can share today about your review on the genesis of the Russia investigation and whether assets have been provided to investigate?” Herridge asked.

No, today I’m really focused just on the process of releasing this report,” Barr replied.

For what it’s worth, there’s already a Justice Department inspector general’s probe into whether the investigation was opened properly.
