Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) added her two cents to the controversy swirling around Ivanka Trump after a clip surfaced from the G20 summit in which the first daughter appears to be inserting herself into a conversation of world leaders, to the chagrin of some of those gathered.

The White House responded to the criticism of Trump in a statement to the New York Times, calling the attacks “absolutely pathetic” and a “misrepresentation.”

Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also posted a statement, calling out Ocasio-Cortez for “wasting” her time on Twitter.
