The Republican Party looks to be increasingly interested in moving on from the contraception fight that polls show has hurt their standing with independent women. But on the campaign trail Monday, women wouldn’t let Romney drop the topic. NPR’s Ari Shapiro reports that Romney was hit with two contraception questions at a town hall in Peoria. One woman asked him about contracpetion access, while another asked him about his plan to strip government funding from Planned Parenthood.
