Larry Wilmore catalogued all the ways former reality television star Donald Trump should have tanked his presidential campaign on “The Nightly Show” on Monday night.
And yet…
“Let me sum up what we’ve gone through in the last month and a half,” Wilmore said. “So far, Trump’s called Mexican rapists, he attacked one of America’s most beloved POWs, he gave out a sitting senator’s phone number out of spite and now he basically blamed a women’s tough questioning on her period. And his polls just go higher and higher.”
But Wilmore has a message for American voters.
“America, I am talking to you directly: Stop it. Stop it. America, listen to me. Stop it,” Wilmore said.
The debate asked one question about racial justice for just 31 seconds. Then the debate went to commercial, a trailer for the new movie about hiphop group N.W.A., “Straight Outta Compton”
“Black lives matter when they’re paying for ad time,” Wilmore said.
Watch the episode, from Comedy Central, below:
The polls reflect who is asked what question. Did the pollsters doing the poll ask just republicans or all registered voters? If just republicans were asked who they’d vote for then yeah Trump will have high numbers cuz we’re talking mouth breathers here. But if these numbers come from voters in general then we are in serious trouble.
Right now on BBC “Watch and Listen” are the following newsworthy items that do not involve Donald Trump:
Millions of gallons of water polluted with heavy metals has poured into the Animas River
Protesters stand in front of riot police
Shots fired at Ferguson protest
Eight dead in Texas home shooting
Huge hailstones shatter plane windscreen
Ferguson remembers Michael Brown
How long is ‘world’s longest’ yard sale?
Can’t we at least have something on the world’s longest yard sale for a change?
Except I love Wilmore…
Trump has simply stolen the promotional strategy of Morton Downey Jr. - same target audience … essentially the same tone & attitude.

Confounded? Why?
All Captain Combover is doing is refusing to apologize for being a boor and being a first-class joke that embarrasses professional politicians by having no sense of shame. He has concealed this with the mantle of not-politics-as-usual. People LOVE that. You saw a version of it in Minnesota when Jesse The Body Ventura beat out Hubert Humphrey’s kid and Norm Coleman for the governorship in 1998.
You want to know how to beat Trump? Here’s how you do it. You simply ask him what he’d do to solve a problem he’s bitching about and use the word ‘incompetent’ no matter what his answer is. Trump’s entire campaign is “I’m mad.” Gosh, what a revelation. Personally, I hope he gets the nomination because he had already lost the Hispanic vote and now he’s working on losing women. Big time.
"I’m mad’ does not solve any problems.
