Willie Robertson, one of the stars of A&E’s “Duck Dynasty,” endorsed Donald Trump on Thursday, according to a press release from the Trump campaign.
“Mr. Trump is a real leader. He represents success and strength, two attributes our country needs. Like me, he is a successful businessman and family man and I endorse his candidacy for President of the United States,” Willie Robertson said in a statement.
Robertson also joined Trump on Thursday night at the Outdoor Sportsman Awards in Las Vegas, according to the Trump campaign.
Willie Robertson’s father, Phil Robertson, endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) presidential bid earlier this month in a video that also shows the two going duck hunting together.
The Robertson family is a favorite of conservative politicians. Willie Robertson touted Trump during a a rally in Oklahoma in September, and had previously backed Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) during his gubernatorial bid.
Lamest. Oedipal. Conflict. Ever.

This shows how far we have fallen. Reality Show entertainers having influence, both on the ballot and off.
The Robertsons can’t loose…
The fact Trump wants to date his own daughter makes him a true family man, especially from where Robertson comes from. He is also very experienced in issues related to marriage longevity.
