The White House denied a report Friday afternoon that claimed President Barack Obama was mulling whether to take a stab at working in digital media when he leaves office.

Shortly after an anonymously-sourced Mic News report made waves on social media, White House Communications Director Jen Psaki tweeted that Obama has “has no plans to get into the media business.”

It wasn’t clear from the report what aspect of digital media Obama, who’s been crusading against fake news in recent weeks, was interested in pursuing. One source told Mic that the President had been interested at one point in creating his own media company before “cooling” on the idea.
