White House: Assault Weapons Ban ‘Needs To Come To A Vote’

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney continued to lobby for the re-instatement of a federal ban on assault weapons on Wednesday.

“This needs to come to a vote,” he told reporters at a daily press briefing.
