I bet that Trump will be obsequious. He is Macron’s bitch, after losing all the dominance games.
Question for the WH Press Pool (about their speed): who wins the power-handshake competition? b/c it’s “all about the optics,” after all.
I especially like how Macron decided to not have the dinner tonight at the Elysee. Having it at the restaurant atop the Eiffel Tower, so that PO(tu)S can see that “Paris is still Paris,” (contrary to PO(tu)S’ claims in February).
I get a distinctive queasy feeling every time he’s in Europe. It has something to do with his inability to handle being around ACTUAL leaders of democracies.
I hope they give Trump meatloaf while Macron dines on gourmet French cuisine. In fact, it would be hilarious if Macron ate ortolans. Imagine what Trump will think when Macron puts a hood over his head.
