New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) and David Letterman shared laughs on the “Late Show” Monday. Christie shrugged off Letterman’s many jokes about the governor’s weight, at one point interrupting the late-night host by eating a doughnut and telling him, “I didn’t know this was gonna be this long.”
Christie said about 40 percent of the jokes about him are funny. “If the joke is funny, I laugh, even if it’s about me,” Christie said. Christie then read some of Letterman’s best Christie jokes.
