Another Republican poll surveying the Iowa race for U.S. Senate found state Sen. Joni Ernst (R) leading Rep. Bruce Braley (D-IA).

The poll, conducted by Republican pollster Vox Populi found Ernst leading Braley 49 percent to 44 percent. The poll’s findings appear to be a recent flip from before the primary election, when Braley lead Ernst in virtually every poll matching the two against each other in the general election. That seemed to change right after the election when a Rasmussen poll found Ernst leading by 1 percentage point.

Two other polls have shown a tight race between Braley and Ernst. The poll by the Republican-leaning Rasmussen found Ernst leading Braley, 45 percent to 44 percent. Another poll, by Loras College, found Ernst leading Braley 48 percent to 41.7 percent.

The latest Vox Populi survey was an automated poll conducted among 667 active voters between June 4 and June 5. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.
