VoteVets, a progressive coalition of 560,000 veterans and their families according to its Twitter bio, fired back at President Donald Trump for his “inappropriate” and “self-promotional” Memorial Day tweet, quipping #CadetBoneSpurs.

The President received widespread criticism for the tone-deaf tweet.
