President Donald Trump will travel to Alabama on Friday to survey the damage from a series of tornadoes on Sunday that resulted in at least 23 deaths.
“I’ll be heading to Alabama on Friday,” Trump said from the Roosevelt Room, according to pool reporter Nikki Schwab of the New York Post. “It’s been a tragic situation, but a lot of good work is being done.”
