Donald Trump on Monday evening continued to complain about the Colorado Republican Convention, at which he was awarded zero delegates, prompting a Twitter rant from Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO).

Trump lamented the Colorado GOP’s decision last summer to nix its primary straw poll and instead select candidates through a caucus.

“Because we thought we were having an election, and a number of months ago they decided to do it by you know what, right? Right? They said we’ll do it by delegate,” Trump said Monday night, according to NBC News.

“And the delegates were all there all waiting and the head guy, in fact one of them tweeting out today or said today by mistake and then they withdrew it something to the effect ‘see never Trump, look what we did never Trump,'” he continued. “Because if I go to the voters of Colorado, we win Colorado. So it’s a crooked, crooked system.”

Gardner then fired off a series of tweets on Monday night, slamming Trump’s leadership skills and campaign organization.
