Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called for Republicans to unite behind him on Tuesday as projections showed that he would win the primaries in Michigan and Mississippi.

Speaking from the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida, Trump said that he hoped Republicans “will embrace” how he has recruited Democrats and independents to the party.

“And with all of these people coming over, we’re going to have something very, very special if I win and if I get to go against Hillary,” Trump said.

Trump said he spoke to House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) who was “very encouraging” and “couldn’t have been nicer.”

Trump also said that it was difficult for a Republican to win the presidency, but that his surge in support should be acknowledged by those in his party.

“So what I say to the Republicans is embrace it, we will win the election easily,” Trump said.
