The White House counsel’s office is reportedly telling President Trump’s aides to keep referring to issues at the border as a “crisis,” so attorneys can later point to that rhetoric to justify a national emergency declaration in court, CNN reported Thursday.
According to officials familiar with the matter who spoke to CNN, the advice is part of the White House counsel’s efforts to lay “groundwork for a legal defense” of the decision, with the assumption that Democrats will challenge it in court.
Now all Trump has to do is keep it from being heard before a Mexican judge.
All show,no substance… why even the drug props have been supplied by Hollywood
No premeditation or COLLUSION,…lmfao!!
We need to get whatsisface, the super-rich guy who’s not running in 2020, to pay for blanket billboard coverage with “Where are the pesos?” and photos of the holes cut in the wall and so on, so that even the Faux Noise Bubblepeople will be constantly deluged with images.
The humanitarian crises are in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. It seems to me that supporting democratic reforms and providing assistance to those countries would do more to stem the migration than a wall. So a wall simply moves the humanitarian crisis to Mexico -the other side of the wall. What a ridiculous made for TV administration.
