  2. Any word on who took the photo? The folks out there taking pictures have been putting themselves in the line of fire - sometimes literally - and deserve credit.

    “Chaos” is too loaded a term. The protests were orderly; the chaos was caused by police action and the decision to deploy tear gas, concussion grenades and to move giant war machines into the crowd.

    Terms like ‘riot’ ‘chaos’ and ‘violence’ none of which characterize the actual demonstrators are just lazy journalism.
