Ted Cruz, the Republican Senate nominee in Texas, mocked President Obama’s “yes we can” refrain from his 2008 campaign in his speech at the Republican National Convention Tuesday night.
“I’d like to close with asking you a few questions, with apologies to Barack Obama,” Cruz said, according to prepared remarks.
Can we restore the Constitution?
Yes we can.
Can we retake the U.S. Senate?
Can we repeal ObamaCare?
And can we defeat President Barack Obama?
That, my friends, is change we can believe in.
