Mitt Romney still has time in the last five weeks of the campaign to win over undecided voters, Romney campaign advisers said on a conference call Monday.
From CNN:
Campaign advisers have said they expect the race to be close fought until November, with Romney making a play in these final weeks for undecided voters and for those who have some level of support for Obama but might be persuaded to switch to Romney.
“I think the reason these voters are undecided is because they’ve watched President Obama for the four years and they haven’t concluded that he’s worthy of their support right now,” [senior adviser Kevin] Madden said, adding Romney’s job was: “to lay out the important contrast, the important choice that these voters face on these issues that they care about.”
