Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton tweeted her support for the family of Tamir Rice, a 12 year-old black boy, who was shot and killed in November by a white police officer in Cleveland, days after reports conducted by outside experts were released suggesting the officer’s use of force was justified.
Sending support to Tamir Rice’s loved ones. Too many black families are mourning the loss of a child. We need to change that reality. -H

The reports, released Saturday night, showed outside reviews commissioned by the prosecutor’s office as information is gathered to submit to a grand jury, which will determine whether to charge the police officer, Timothy Loehmann.
The outside experts were provided with footage of the shooting. The officers had been told by the dispatcher that he was armed, but not Rice’s age nor that the gun could be a fake. Rice was holding a pellet gun.
The reports were criticized by the Rice family’s attorney who said the reviews showed that the prosecutor’s office was avoiding accountability.
Standard to justify police shooting = fear
The overwhelming majority of white people in America have an irrational fear of black people. Couple that with an overwhelming white police force, and the result is
Shooting scary darkies = justified
Well, there goes the rage-fuelled, racist cop vote . . .
Man, Sanders has really gotten Hillary to go lefty on racial and economic matters.
Hopefully she stays there.
Clinton was always further to left of Sanders on racial issues and speaking to minority issues by virtue of the fact that unlike Sanders, she actually had a sizable population of minority constituents. If anything, I think the Obama presidency, specifically watching the GOP’s racial meltdown in response, and the way minorities have felt as a result has had a far bigger impact than a candidate (Sanders) minorities are so far overwhelmingly rejecting.
I also think she realizes her path to the nomination and to the WH will require a strong GOTV effort among minority voters. Frankly, other than Obama, I really can’t remember another viable presidential candidate who has ever done more minority outreach than Clinton is doing now. I don’t think that has anything to do with Bernie Sanders.
Actually I am not surprised by this Tweet. It fits Hillary to a tea. The only surprising thing is her advisors didn’t talk her out of it.
