CNN conducted a survey of political leaders and operatives in Iowa shows who the insiders think will win: Mitt Romney. CNN polled 64 insiders, which included “state legislators, local elected and party officials, senior advisers to Republican Gov. Terry Branstad, business and conservative interest group leaders, veterans of previous caucus campaigns, and a variety of other party activists.” Fully 63% picked Romney and almost everyone else picked Paul. Although Santorum was surging in the polls, not a single insider picked him.
