Stacey Dash is one proud mother.
The actress who’s found a second career as a conservative pundit provided reassurance on Wednesday to her fellow Fox News panelists, who worried that America’s youth might end up intoxicated with all these free handouts from the Obama administration.
The kids are alright, Dash said. Well, her kids, anyway.
“My son is going to be 24 on Friday. … He is now a conservative and he says to me, ‘Mom, most of my friends are conservative. We’re capitalists. We want to keep our money,'” she told the gang on “Outnumbered.”
Dash’s precocious 11-year-old daughter has had a similar political awakening.
“And my 11-year-old is a conservative as well because she has traditions. You know, there are things that she believes in that I hope I’ve had some input on,” she said. “And, you know, she has referred to the President as golem, which I think is really clever for an 11-year-old.”
It would be pretty impressive for a youngster to have a familiarity with a creature from Jewish folklore. But perhaps Dash’s daughter had insulted President Obama by comparing him to “Gollum,” the spindly, bug-eyed creature from “Lord of the Rings.”
TPM wasn’t sure, so we asked Dash on Twitter to clarify. She still hasn’t responded.
