Two heat-related deaths were confirmed Wednesday, bringing the St. Louis area’s heat death toll to 23, St. Louis Today reports:
Since the hot spell began June 27 with a high of 99 degrees, 17 deaths by heat-related illness have been reported in St. Louis, three in St. Louis County, two in Madison County and one in St. Clair County.
