Fresh off the successful completion of his company’s historic first-ever docking mission with the International Space Station, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk paid a visit to Texas Governor Rick Perry in Austin on Wednesday.
“Suited up and met with @GovernorPerry in Austin about creating a launch site in Texas,” Musk tweeted from his personal account, including the following photo.
The Associated Press (via The Washington Post) has more details on the meeting, including the fact that a Perry spokesperson said it went well. Musk also tweeted that while in Austin, he had been filmed in a cameo in the latest film from Robert Rodriguez, “Machete Kills.”
