Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown raised over $3 million in the second quarter of 2012, his campaign announced Thursday. Brown ended June with $6.5 million cash on hand.
The campaign said that most donations came from Ohio and averaged less than $70.
Brown faces a tight race against state Treasurer Josh Mandel.Outside groups have already spent over $10 million attacking Brown.
