Sen. Landrieu’s Son Arrested For DWI, Hit-And-Run

Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D-LA) 21-year-old son, Frank “Connor” Snellings, was arrested Thursday on charges of driving under the influence, hit-and run, and for driving the wrong way on a one-way street, the Times-Picayune reports:

The car Snellings was driving hit a pedestrian, who was not seriously injured, according to the sheriff’s report. Snellings and a passenger in his car were not hurt.

“We love our son wholeheartedly, but we are extremely disappointed by his irresponsible actions last night,” Landrieu told the paper. “These actions have serious consequences both at home and in our legal system.”
