Sen. Kirk Returns To Washington Office For First Time Since Suffering Stroke

Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) on Friday returned to his office on Capitol Hill for the first time since suffering a stroke last January, the Associated Press reports:

His office says the Illinois Republican spent about a half-hour meeting with aides on Thursday in advance of his anticipated return to work when the new Congress convenes on Jan. 3.
