A shirtless Scott Brown was featured prominently on the front page of the New Hampshire Union-Leader’s Monday edition.
The former Republican senator from Massachusetts, who is widely considered to be mulling a challenge to Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), participated Sunday in the Penguin Plunge. The annual dip into the Atlantic Ocean benefits Special Olympics New Hampshire, and this year, it was Zombie-themed.

As the Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza pointed out, the Union-Leader never actually mentions Brown in its story on the event. But his photo accompanies the article, along with a caption that reads “Former Mass. U.S. senator Scott Brown, a longtime summer resident of Rye, joined the Buckley’s Frozen Seamen team during Sunday’s 15th annual Penguin Plunge to benefit Special Olympics New Hampshire.”
By contrast, the Portsmouth Herald also ran a story on the Penguin Plunge on its front page accompanied by two photos — neither of which were photos of Brown.
