Republican presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) again promised Tuesday that he’d win Florida in the primary next week and win the state in the general election.
“We can win this election and we will,” Rubio said at a rally in Kissimmee. “We’re just not going to win the Florida primary next Tuesday we’re going to win Florida in the election.”
CNN reported on Monday that some of Rubio’s senior advisers had encouraged him to drop out of the race ahead of the Florida primary. Shortly after the report aired, though, a spokesman for Rubio went on CNN and called its report “utter nonsense.”
Rubio’s Last Stand.
At this point, he’s not even pretending that he can win the nomination without a contested convention. Outside of showing up for the debates, Rubio is basically only campaigning in Florida. He’s just trying to deny Trump (and Cruz) access to as many Floria delegates as he can, and then see if he can make any waves in Cleveland when all the knives come out for Trump in the smoke filled back room. Good luck with that!
Once again
Why does the good s—+ always happen, when I’m at work?
Why dammit why?
At least Joe Namath has nothing to worry bout, but why does the good stuff happen when I’m at work.
It’s not fair.
who knew that Pollyanna was actually a Republican from Cuban parents?
I think I liked it better when it was Haley Mills…
as Maynard G Krebs used to say…
WORK!!?!!
Sure thing Marco.
