Mitt Romney hammered on his campaign’s theme that President Obama has been a disappointment in his speech at the Republican national convention in Tampa Thursday night.

“I would ask a simple question, if you felt that excitement when you voted for Barack Obama, shouldn’t you feel that way now that he’s President Obama?” Romney said.

“You know there is something wrong with the kind of job he’s done as president when the best feeling you had was the day you voted for him,” Romney said. “The president has disappointed America because he hasn’t led America in the right direction. “

From there, Romney criticized Obama for lacking business experience, and then told his own story of beginning Bain Capital.
