Republican nominee Mitt Romney on Tuesday seized upon a comment made by Joe Biden earlier in the day, in which the vice president said the middle class had been “buried” during the past four years.
“How they can justify raising taxes on the middle class that has been buried the last four years?” Biden asked of the Romney-Ryan ticket in front of a campaign event in North Carolina.
Both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan later said they agreed with Biden, pointing to the admission as a reason why President Obama needs to be voted out of office.
