House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is due to attend a meeting at the White House on Tuesday morning, presumably with President Barack Obama, as the administration seeks to convince lawmakers to authorize strikes upon Syria, CNN’s Dana Bash reports.
Sens. John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC), two of the administration’s most vocal foreign policy critics that are advocating a broader mission in Syria, are meeting with the president today.
