Priorities USA Action, the super PAC supporting President Obama, released a new ad Tuesday attacking Mitt Romney for costing working Americans their jobs while head of Bain Capital — a theme the group said it plans to focus on in the final weeks of the race. In the ad, several workers describe losing their jobs due to Bain Capital.
“This was a booming place and Mitt Romney and Bain Capital turned it into a junkyard,” a man called Donny says in the ad. “I was suddenly 60 years old. I had no healthcare,” a woman named Loris adds.
“He promised us the same things he’s promising the United States,” a man, Pat, says at the end. “And he’ll give you the same thing he gave us. Nothing. He’ll take it all.”
“The ad is part of a renewed multi-million dollar effort on television and online to educate voters about Mitt Romney’s business record in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin,” a press release for the new ad, called “Same Promises,” said.
