You’ll be back at the gym in no time, Madame Justice. After all, you are the notorious RBG. Stay well.
Can we set up a GoFundMe page to buy her a bubble-wrap wardrobe?
If she’s back up already, It may well not be a big deal. Many broken ribs you don’t do anything but wrap. (And supposedly, although you do lose bone healing rate at old ages, the loss itself fall off, so RBG likely isn’t worse off than, say, someone in their late 60s.)
(When I was a kid, one of our neighbors, in his 80s, was run over – twice – in his tenants’ driveway. Ribs, arms, legs… three months later he was up and around again, and had got himself a nice apartment downtown with the insurance settlement, where he celebrated his 90th birthday.)
“Up and working” is the only way to do it – rest is for the grave.
