Republican presidential candidate and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said on Thursday he was glad his rival Donald Trump had finally “capitulated” and took a loyalty pledge to the Republican Party.
Trump announced in a news conference Thursday afternoon he had signed a pledge not to run as a third-party candidate and to support whoever becomes the GOP nominee.
Paul had previously criticized Trump for refusing to pledge his commitment to the Republican Party. At the GOP debate last month, and several instances thereafter, Trump refused to rule out the a third-party campaign.

You say say you’re a Libertarian … and you’re happy your party requires a"loyalty oath"??? And that makes sense to you?
Right, because begging the leading candidate to not kill the party by leaving and running as an independent is “capitulation”.

Randi must think he’s immune from being shamed in the way The Harumph is shaming Jeb! He’ll be next. Dr. Paul indeed.
Disappointing, but not entirely unexpected. I’m not saying Trump isn’t rich - but it does seem like the majority of his wealth is in real estate, and he probably doesn’t have enough hard cash to run a third-party campaign.
Here’s hoping he continues to screw over both himself and the GOP for a good, long time.
