President Obama’s appearing in John Boehner’s home district in Ohio, drawing attention to a crumbling bridge there that he hopes will help frame his push for infrastructure investment.
At the start of his speech, noting the various dignitaries also in attendance, he told the crowd that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) was there. Boos rang out. “It’s OK, because he supports bridges,” Obama replied.
